Boccia in schools in Poland
In September 2022, an innovative educational program co-organised by the Polish Boccia Association and high schools will be launched in two cities. From September 2022, the School for children and youth with disabilities in Poznan will be established within the High School with an integrated Boccia program. The physical education teachers within the school are also Boccia instructors. Accommodation will be provided in the dormitory. Students will be able to compete in competitions wearing the colours of the Students’ Sports Club. The School of Sports Championships in Zamosc has also announced recruitment for a sports class with a Boccia program for young people studying at High School. There will be a minimum of 16 hours of Boccia classes per week. In both schools, the education curriculum will last 4 years.
