Boccia

The initial meeting under the  project “ BOCCIA – Enhancing the quality of life of people with disabilities  and their environment through Paralympic sport”  co-funded by Erasmus + Programme of the European Union was organized  on July 10-15, in the town  Kyustendil, Bulgaria with the participation of all Partner Organizations representatives  ( 2 leaders  from each country). The meeting was very well organized thanks to the personal involvement of Veska Milanova and Mira Taskova  from Partners Kyustendil Association.

 The meeting schedule  included  not only the detailed explanations about the program and  partner organizations presentations but also Boccia play and attractive for all –  team building  activities.

The partners organizations  were represented by :

Veska Milanova and Mira Taskova  from “Partners Kyustendil Association” – Slokoshtitza, Bulgaria;

Romuald Schmidt and Beata Dobak-Urbańska form “ Sports Rehabilitation Association  START”  Poznan Poland;

Aleksandar Nikolov and Ivana Dimitrovska from Humanitarian Association for Help and Support of the People with Special Needs  “Bravura Cooperativa”– Delcevo, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia;

Seyda Diker and Özgen Özdemiroğlu from “Foundation of Health Social and Education”  in Soma – Soma, Turkey;

Grigoris Kyriakou and  Chritos Giovas from Non Profit Company “Center for Social support”,  Kilkis, Greece;

Tamar Nadiradze and Anna Bochorishvili from  “Coalition for Independent Living” – Tbilisi, Georgia.

The next training workshops for future Boccia instructors and volunteers/Animators of life activity in people with disabilities will be organised in Poland, Wagrowiec on August 23-30, 2015. Each Partner Organization will provide persons to be trained in Boccia coaching .
