Boccia

The European Commission and the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) has organized on 31 January 2017 in the Charlemagne building in Brussels, Belgium an „Infoday” on the Erasmus+ Programme in the field of Sport. The Infoday aim was to inform potential applicants about funding opportunities in 2017.

Hundreds of participants from many countries were welcomed by Brian Holmes, Director – Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency. The opening address was delivered by Tibor Navracsics, European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport.

We have been invited to participate in the first plenary session. The round table covering lessons learnt and policy priorities of „Erasmus+sport” was conducted by Yves Le Lostecque, Head of Sport Unit – Directorate General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture, European Commission. In the debate following spoke: Michal Rynkowski, Directorate General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture, European Commission, Kurt Wachter, VIDC Wien, Margus Klaan, Estonian Ministry of Culture and Romuald Schmidt, START Poznan. Romuald told briefly about our project „Boccia -Erasmus”, building the partnership, process of writing an application. Presentation of video clip of International Boccia Event in Poznan in 2016 was rewarded with big applause.
